# Trust Wallet™ Login

&#x20;It is often used as a software wallet rather than a hardware wallet. Here’s a guide to using Trust Wallet:

## **Getting Started with Trust Wallet**

1. **Download Trust Wallet**:
   * **For iOS**:
     * Visit the [App Store](https://apps.apple.com/) and search for “Trust Wallet.”
     * Download and install the app.
   * **For Android**:
     * Visit the Google Play Store and search for “Trust Wallet.”
     * Download and install the app.
2. **Set Up Your Wallet**:
   * Open the Trust Wallet app after installation.
   * Select “Create a New Wallet” or “Import Wallet” if you have an existing wallet.
     * **Create a New Wallet**:
       * Follow the prompts to create a new wallet, which includes setting up a strong password and securely storing your recovery phrase.
     * **Import Wallet**:
       * If you’re importing an existing wallet, enter your recovery phrase or private key.
3. **Secure Your Wallet**:
   * Write down your recovery phrase and store it in a safe place. This is crucial for recovering your wallet if you lose access to your device.
4. **Add Cryptocurrencies**:
   * You can add cryptocurrencies to your Trust Wallet by:
     * Generating a receiving address and transferring funds from another wallet or exchange.
     * Using the “Buy” feature within the app to purchase cryptocurrencies directly with supported payment methods.
5. **Send and Receive Cryptocurrencies**:
   * **To Receive**:
     * Open the Trust Wallet app and select the cryptocurrency you want to receive.
     * Tap on “Receive” to generate a receiving address or QR code, which you can share with the sender.
   * **To Send**:
     * Select the cryptocurrency, enter the recipient’s address, specify the amount, and confirm the transaction.
6. **Manage Your Assets**:
   * Use the Trust Wallet app to view your portfolio, check transaction history, and manage your assets.
7. **Explore dApps**:
   * Trust Wallet has a built-in Web3 browser that allows you to interact with decentralized applications (dApps) directly from the app.

  * Trust Wallet is a non-custodial wallet, meaning you have full control over your private keys. Ensure you keep your recovery phrase secure and do not share it with anyone.
